Founded in 2013 by Tanniece Coote, The Girl in You began with a simple mission, to create high-quality skincare products that are accessible, affordable, and a little more fun. What started as a passion for beauty quickly blossomed into a trusted Jamaican skincare brand dedicated to helping women feel confident, cared for, and unapologetically feminine.
From Passion to Purpose
In our early days, we proudly retailed some of the world’s most loved beauty brands. But by 2016, we took a bold step forward, creating products of our own.
Working alongside the Scientific Research Council of Jamaica, we developed a signature line of handcrafted lip balms that are as nourishing as they are delightful. Our formulations have been proudly approved by the Bureau of Standards and the Ministry of Health, so you can indulge with confidence.
Today, our collection has grown far beyond lip care, offering thoughtfully crafted skincare products designed to enhance and care for your natural beauty.
