Our Story
Inspired by the love of cosmetics and the desire to be an entrepreneur, Tanniece Coote founded “The Girl in You” as a retail cosmetic company in 2013. Within her company, she retails a wide range of brands including Iman Cosmetics, Revlon Cosmetics and Mary Kay. The Girl in You main focus is to provide quality brands at economical prices, conveniently to its clients. By 2016, the company transitioned into manufacturing and diversifying its focus on lip balms.
Working closely with The Scientific Research Council, The Girl in You Lip balm was approved by The Bureau of Standards and The Ministry of Health. Its three flag ship flavors were Mango, Strawberry and Coffee. Fortunately, this number quickly grew to eight. The company now carries the additional flavors of Breadpudding, Peanut Butter, Carrot Cake, Birthday Cake and Chocolate Fudge.
